If you do it right I beleive it can still be beautiful. However you don't want to over do it by putting different floral designs in other rooms. Keep it simple. Lots of places are now offering beautifully cute out floral wall stencils. Flowers will always be in style. Go modern with it!

Flower wallpaper is not considered "in style" right now. however, it does depend on your personal style, as well as the architecture of the kitchen. Style is relative. A great look for any kitchen is a subtle, muted tone paint, maybe with a nice border that will compliment the style of your kitchen.

Flower wallpaper is still modern for kitchens and other rooms. However, too much of one thing can become overwhelming to any room. If flower wallpaper is chosen, it is very important to choose decor that will compliment the colors and style such as flower pots as containers for utencils, etc.

It depends on the type that you choose. Brighter, lighter colors are more popular and current. Avoid dark colors, as they appear dated and create a smaller space.
