Mormons are no longer biased against interracial marriage as they were before 1978, when non-whites were not capable of ascending to the Priesthood. Interracial marriage is now acceptable IF both are Mormon. Marriage with non-Mormons is still strongly discouraged.

Mormons have no specific problem with interracial marriage IF both individuals are Mormons. If one is a gentile (non-Mormon), the family will be against the marriage no matter their skin color.

The Mormons believe that mixing bloods is a sin that is punishable by death. They believe that God does not allow it in his name.
