What can you tell me about Buddhism and interracial dating?

I need to learn more about Buddhism and interracial dating.

There is no Buddhist belief that would oppose interracial dating. Buddhist belief and practice attempts to move toward enlightenment and away from a focus on inessential, impermanent characteristics like race. However, not all Buddhists practice perfect Buddhism, so some may be upset when their children date people from other races.

I can tell you that most religions want you to stay within a certain criteria. Which basically means they would rather you look alike like most of people it should not be

Buddhism is about how to live in peace. Buddhists are not against interracial dating. This is more about race and culture. It has nothing to do with Buddhism.
