In order to be a live lead singer you not only need a great voice but you need to be able to collaborate with other musicians. You will also need a great deal of energy to give a good show on stage and keep the audience entertained.

Besides the obvious answer of needing a good voice, you will need to have a good band of people you would trust with your life behind you.

Sometimes the crowd is so loud and noisey that you might not be able to hear the music while singing.
