The main thing that a child needs is a childhood. The best thing to do for a child is to put them into a play group. This will give them the chance to build relationships and learn to work with other children. Children learn at different stages, so your child may not be that advanced in a few years.

You need to remember that, although your child may well be gifted, he or she is still just 2. So the best bet would be to follow his or her lead, use the library, read to or provide books on a variety of topics, play, just do things.

First of all who says she's gifted, you and a professional. She should be tested. If she is only two she could be in a class that would help her to expand and learn how to work with other children.

If you daughter is truly gifted you can pull lots of ideas form the web and community resources, sadly funding for most gifted student has be cut nationwide.
