As a bank teller you are in charge of customer service and cash tranactions at your window. You may cross sell financial products such as cd's, IRA's, Money Market Acccounts. At the end of the day you must account for all of your cash in your drawer.

Bank tellers are the people who you go to when you want to withdraw or deposit money into your bank account. They deal with money all day, and sometimes help to set up accounts.

Mostly, they receive and give money, receive checks, and also update the customers' bank accounts. They do all this just by sitting at the counter because almost everything is computerized.

Bank tellers are responsible for interacting with customers and taking care of day to day handling of deposits and withdrawls. They are also responsible for dealing with customers needs in the safety deposit boxes.
