To become a bank teller you would need a high school education, ability to work well with people, ability to work with money, and good awareness of your surroundings. You have to be careful with the money you are working with to ensure it is not stolen or misplaced. Most of the training is on the job.

It depends on the bank, but almost all banks will require a high school diploma or equivalent. Most importantly, you'll need a professional demeanor and appearance and experience handling money.

A high school diploma or GED is what most banks require. Any level of education higher than that would be useful as well. Being computer literate and knowing how to type efficiently also be helpful.

Different places will require certain different minimum school qualification like a high school diploma or certificate. Commerce based training is preferable and knowing a full set of accounts. A background check is done for good credit status and some customer service experience is good because one must process routine transactions. On- the- job training is also provided.
