What could cause my cell phone screen to be white?

Your cell phone could be white because you have dropped it and the screen is busted. If that is not the fact then the phone may need to be charged up so that the scree will not be white any longer. Another reason could be that it is your screen saver and that is why your screen is white.

I would think maybe your battery is going bad or is bad. You might try taking it to your nearby cell phone store and see if it can be tested.

If you have left your cell phone in the heat, like a car for the majority of the day, this will cause your screed to turn completely white. I have had this happen to me.
