Well, perhaps the gas dryer has run out of tax. Also, there could be a manufacturer problem. That is what it sounds like.

One reason your gas dryer is not heating could be an extinguished pilot light. Remove rear panel to inspect. If it is not lit follow manual instructions to relight.

The lint trap could be clogged causing the motor to overheat. If this were the case the dryer would try to heat up and then stop due to a fail safe preventing it from burning itself out. If it doesn't heat at all it could be the connection is loose or not making good contact.

Well, I guess there should be a problem with the engine or maybe with the heater that happens to be inside the gas dryer.

I would try to check the heating element. Sometimes they do go out. I have an electric one, but I'm sure gas dryers must have an element as well. You might also want to check the belt and make sure it hasn't came off or maybe even be off of the tub.

Check the lent catcher. If it is clean could be a few reason's.A Thermal cuplar could be bad.If it is a older model some time's the electric modulator switch inside burn's out.If you have flame Ignition and it's not blowing might want to check breaker box and the blower motor.

Your gas dryer probably doesn't have any gas in it, if it doesn't have gas it has no fuel, Hence no heat.
