What could be wrong with my dog if he is not eating and has black diarrhea?

Loss of appetite is not good. Black diarrhea could be a bowel blockage, cancer and/or bleeding. Take our dog to the veterinarian ASAP. He is suffering.

Black stools right off the bat are a BAD sign, it could mean old blood. You have two serious symptoms that demand you see a vet as soon as possible.

Black tarry diarrhea can indicate bleeding and your dog should be seen by a vet as soon as possible. It could be a minor stomach problem, but should be checked.

Get your dog to the vet ASAP! If he has black diarrhea, it's probably blood. Your dog could have injested something sharp causing serious damage. If he's not eating that's a bad sign too. Don't waste anymore time, get your dog to a vet.
