The transmission could be faulty, But i would say check all of your vacuum lines for leaks or missing hoses. The vacuum lines tell the transmission when to shift, so if that signal is missing it won't shift.

You should check out the transmission fluids. They usually cause such things. If that isn' the problem then get it checked by an expert.

There could be a problem with your transmission especially to the pressure. To fix it, simply check the fluid and replace the transmission filter.

could be a solenoid that is bad, check the fluid if its dark replace the fluid and see if that helps. If not you will need to find someone who can trouble shoot the unit
