If the pain moves from back to front it could very well be a kidney stone. An x-ray will usually tell if it is a stone. It could be a kidney/uninary tract infection, which will require a medical test to determine if it is and what kind.

It is possible you may have gall stones in your gallbladder. I had the same pain that extended to my backside. talk to your doctor about getting an ultrasound done. i had to have mine removed. In my case i had stones the size of golf balls and it's serious if it doesn't get looked at.

It may be due to urine stone complaint. Consult a Urologist and culture your urine. Scanning may also help for detecting the real problem. If it is due to urine stone complaint, better to treat early. In the initial stages it may go through urine by the help of certain medicines. If it enlarges, surgery is the only solution.
