Migraine headaches can cause pain on one side of the head, especially if it is accompanied by lights, vomiting, or pulsating. There are prescription medicines that can help.

It could be a migraine, or problem with a blood vessel. Best to see your doctor as it could denote something serious. Better safe than sorry.

See your doctor and have a CT or MRI immediately. It could just be cluster headaches or migraines. It could also be something more serious, from a tumor or an embolism, or various other serious injuries. If you have hit your head, it could be signs of a concussion. Do not hesitate to consult your doctor about ANY head illness.
