Greenish stool may be related to what your dog has been eating recently. Has his diet changed? Has his environment changed? Is he eating only dog food or do family members give him unauthorized "treats? " If you can eliminate his food as the issue, it may be that he is eating grass.

This is being caused by something green the dog ate most likely. Dogs tend to eat grass and that can make their fecal matter be green. They may also throw up the green grass. The dog may like the taste of the grass or he/she may be eating it because their stomach is upset.
