Sticky drainage from the eyes can be an indicator of a variety of things, either the onset of pink eye also know as conjunctivitis, allergies or even a blocked tear duct. Blocked tear ducts usually correct themselves within a few days, if now a minor surgery can be performed to clear them, for conjunctivitis a simple antibiotic perscription.

It may be mucus. You may have an eye cold. Also, your tear duct is probably obstructed or something because my baby had that condition a few weeks ago.

It could be an eye infection of some sort or it could have something to do with your sinuses. See a doctor to be sure.
