What could be causing my Ford Aerostar airbag light to blink then be normal?

It sounds like possibly a short in the wiring. You should probably take it in to your dealer to have it checked, as I would hate for the airbag to not deploy if you were involved in an accident. They can check it easily to determine why it is malfunctioning.

This might just be a malfunction but it is possible that it is serious. Better get it checked out soon, because if there is a serious problem you wouldn't want the air bag to deploy while you are traveling down the road, which would cause a very bad accudent. It shouldn't cost much for a mechanic to check this out.

The reasons for the blink in the Ford Aerostar air bag could be the abnormal functioning of gauges would out of the normal range.

if the airbag lights are going crazy this means that it has been tripped or that one of the sensors is malfunctioning. you have to find out which one of the sensors has been tripped or is malfunctioning and replace it.
