What could be causing blisters on my lip?

There could be several causes such as dry lips, sharp edges on teeth grinding into the lip, inadequate vitamins and minerals in the diet or even allergies.

If you are getting blisters on your lip it could be caused from ingrown hairs. Another thing could be that the lip gloss or chapstick that you are using. It could also be something in your toothpaste or mouth wash that you are allergic to that is causing the blisters.

There are many things that could cause this. A severe sunburn could cause these blisters, as could a very high fever. They could also be cold sores. Cold sores can stem from stress, or from a variety of different diseases.
