What color should my living room seating be to coordinate with my black piano?

Red or green would be dynamic accents to a black piano. In addition, these colors are generally considered emotional/artistic colors and would enhance the overall ambiance provided by the piano's presence in the room. If a more austere look is preferred, tan seating could be used to lighten the room.

Definitely NOT black, that would be too much. Try and look for a balance between objects and spaces. A black piano is a specific feature, you can put a strong statement next to it (behind/in front). Classic, European velvet seating colors always go well with the classic design of a black piano, no matter the specific style of the furniture.
