Chocolate poodle color descriptions are described in chocolate-like terms, or sometimes coffee! Light cocoa, dark bittersweet, milky, etc., and not always solid.

A chocolate poodle is a dark brown usually, like a hershey bar. They are not as glossy as say a chocolate lab because of the curly nature of their hair.

The shade of brown can vary depending on the breeder. Some may be a little darker than apricot. Others are so dark that they may look black in dim light.

The shade is like a milk chocolate. I have never seen a poodle darker then that. It almost looks like a brown curly hair human.
