A leg can be sore for many reasons. If you are recovering from a difficult workout it could be muscle soreness. If you recently had surgery, it could be sore from having to heal. If your leg has experienced trauma recently, it could have broken bones, torn ligaments or possibly just a bruise.

There are a number of reasons why your leg can ache or be sore. Maybe you work somewhere where you are standing for serveral hours or maybe you need to stretch your muscles as they can get tight. You may also be over exercising and need to rest your legs.
