What causes a turn signal to blink too fast?

In many cases, when a turn signal is blinking too fast, then one of the bulbs is burned out. If your right turn indicator is blinking really fast, get out and check the front and back blinker on the passenger side and replace the bulb if one of them is not working.

The usual reasons for this are either the fuse is blown or one of the bulbs is out or an incorrect bulb. Check/Replace these and everything should be working correctly again.
