This type of skin cancer, can cause tumors which can cause problems such as bone deformities if left untreated. Every cancer should be treated right away so that the dogs are not in pain. If treated early enough treatment is usually very successful. Treatment includes removal of tumors and cancerous tissues.

Squamous cell carcinoma is a common type of skin cancer, afflicting both humans and dogs. While all cancers are potentially very dangerous and can kill your dog quickly, it is relatively safe compared to many other cancers. Your veterinarian can help you with treatment options, all of which include prescription medications.

This is a cancer that usually attacks superficially and causes open sores on the facial area. this cancer is deadly so you should get your dog all the treatment necessarry and available to you. If the cancer is already quite advanced there may not be anything that can be done. You may speak to your vet about having him putdown
