Can small cell carcinoma be cured if it went into remission and now there are nodules in the lungs?

It is not considered cured if you are still in remission, since this means that the cancer is still there but have not spread.

No, the initial therapy is the best chance of cure. If it has recurred after remission, the cells almost always are resistant to further curative therapy.

Cancer is "cured" when it does not come back. In remission, cancer has been "treated" and possibly "cured." You need a biopsy to find out if the nodules are cancer.

Small cell carcinoma can be treated if it has not spread to any other areas than the lungs. It is treated with radiation and chemotherapy. If it is the limited carcinoma after treatment it can go back int remission.
