Switch your shampoo to a milder brand. Check with the pharmacist, he can recommend one. Also stop using conditioner or hair gel. This will irritate the situation.

Scalp irritation is caused due to several reasons. Some are due to dandruff, lice, swellings, to become white due to old age. Main problems may be due to dandruff. Dandruff is the earlier stage of lice. It takes birth as dandruff and later grows into lice. So remove dandruff first applying dandruff shampoo.
