External is on the outside of the fuel tank .It will not produce carbon and echo friendly. Having an external is easier to change if you need to replace. They can also be expose to damages.You can install an external pump by yourself. You can purchase the install kit at any part store and they come with directions.

External fuel pump means an injuction pump used in petrol engines like cars etc. That is very useful for vehicles and it will not produce carbon. It ia an echofriendly engine.

External fuel pump simply means that it is located outside of the fuel tank. They are much easier to replace but are sometimes exposed to possible damage.
