"Civil crime" is not a legal term. The legal system includes three types of laws: criminal, civil, and administrative. Criminal laws are laws that have a penalty and can be prosecuted. Civil laws relate to liability, meaning one person can become liable to another (giving rise to lawsuits). Administrative laws are rules within branches of government and includes immigration laws.

There is no "civil crime." A civil offense is an infraction of a law; it is not a crime. The penalty is a fine. A crime is a violation of the law, may or may not have a victim, and is punishable by a fine and/or jail/incarceration. Neither civil offenses or crimes are inherent in immigration.

Crimes are classified as misdemeanors or felonies. Crime is not a civil matter. Civil courts hear cases like divorce, etc. I don't know of a relationship between civil matters and immigration.

Crime may be correlated with the influx of specific groups of immigrants in specific areas. There is no general research regarding crime as it related to overall immigration.

Illegal entering a country is a crime, but immigration in and of itself is not a crime. There is no such thing as civil crime. There are civil infractions, which usually result in a fine. There are criminal offenses, are more serious and can result in jail/prison/probation. But neither civil infractions nor criminal acts are inherent in immigration.

Civil crime is a misnomer. Civil issues involve legal disputes that require a court for clarification. Crimes are where a party has violated a law that is punished as a misdemeanor or felony. Neither have a direct linkage to immigration on a scientific basis. However, poverty tends to foster crime.

Criminal acts are violent, like rape, murder, and assault. Civil crimes are not violent, like bouncing a check or DUI. Violent criminals are deported at the end of their sentence.
