Carvin amps have some durability issues from the people that I've spoken to about them. Therefore, it's almost smarter to spend the extra money and get a marshall amp. However, you also have to take into consideration the sound you are looking for. With the distortion and effects you get from Marshall amps, they're best for metal and rock.
I strongly disagree. I've had a Carvin Valvemaster amp for 20 years and never had one problem. I bought a DSL 2000 and gigged with it for 2 years and hade to have it fixed 7 times!!! All diferenct problems. Marshalls sound great but there quality is gone. Carving V3! add a comment
