Either you have a severed power cord which can be verified by using a multi-tester or your battery pack is old or damaged and no longer charges.

The connector may be broken inside.. you have to unplug the connector and test whether it's working or not.

i think there is a problem with the battery in its backside. Or may be the power adapter will have some problem.

Your battery may not accept a charge, which means you should replace the battery. Your plug and transformer may not be working, so those should be replaced. If you have a friend with a working transformer and plug then you can test out these possibilities before you buy. Technology is great until it stops working...

The power cord is probably bad, especially if it's over a couple of years old. Just buy a new power cord.
