This is going to matter on how much money you are willing to spend on health care for your cat. Treatments vary and will depend on what stage the cat is in. Most veterinarians will put down a cat with aids.

You can not do anything for a cat with aids. From personal experience all you can do is give it the dose of medicine the vet tells you too and give it as much love as possible. Cats with aids can live a long time after they are diagnosed with it.

Feline HIV is a disease that is easily manageable if you follow some simple rules. Don't let your HIV Positive kitty get outside. Get your other cats checked, if they're not positive get them vaccinated, and don't adopt anymore kitties. Watch wounds carefully, and don't feed your HIV cat any raw meat, as their immune systems are compromised.

Since the cat aids is contagious to other cats. I need to bring my aids cat to see a veterinarian and let it stay there to get the best treatment. Therefore, my other cats won't be incidentally affected by the aids cat.

keep it inside so it does not infect any more cats then treat symptomatically as the disease progresses. Maintain quality of life and love your cat.
