Medicare does not pay for hearing aids and they do not pay for routine hearing tests as well. They will only pay if hearing loss is caused by disease.

Medicare does not pay for hearing aids. If your grandmother enrolls in a Medicare Advantage program, if a provider is available in her area, that program may cover it.

Yes, Medicare does cover hearing aids if the recipient suffers from hearing damage or loss. The Medicare should be contacted on information about how to receive coverage or compensation for the aid.

There are special circumstances in which it may cover a part of a hearing exam but it does not pay for hearing aids. Consult your doctor to be sure.
