How common is steroids in sports?

With steroids being such a common theme in sports these days, you would have to wonder if any sports do in fact not have steroid scandals. Looking at major sports like basketball, football ect. you definetely do have steroids, but games like Polo and darts, obviously not major sports are in ways funny but have no steroid linkings.

Steroids are very common in sports. The only leage that is really strict on them at the moment is major league baseball. penalties are 50 games to a lifetime ban. I also believe that basketball and football players use steroids as a majority. It is hard to believe in this day that there are any clean sports.

Sports where athletes abuse steroids are ones which require speed, strength and explosive power rather than skill, agility and endurance.

Steroids are banned in most professional sports. In professional baseball they were prevalent from 1990 through mid 2000's. In football they were also used to gain strength and endurance.
