Reducing mold in a humidor is a daunting process. The first step is to make sure you have the correct humidity according to manufactures specs. Is the humidifier working properly?. If not then replace the unit, and reseason. Also, is the humidor made from the correct materials, typically it should be some variation of cedar.

Vacuum the humidor thoroughly. Take a clean wet sponge, add a tiny drop of alcohol to it, then wipe it down. Afterward, let it air out for a week.

You could keep your Humidor clean. As long as it doesn't get dirty or left dirty for a long period of time, it should be fine. So basically keep it clean

1. Gently brush out and vacuum the mold particles inside the humidor 2. If the humidor has trays and compartments, take a brand new and clean sponge and gently wipe the entire humidor

One can reduce humid mold by not putting it into a glass mold. The sponge material has humidity only for 6 months. the soft part may fall down. so put it in a distilled water kept in a glass bowl.
