Put books in direct sunlight for a time. Then outdoors, use a vacuum with a Hepa filter to trap mold spores so they don't spread.

First, dry the book by moving it to a dry area, or outdoors in the sunlight. Secondly, use a vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter to vacuum as much mold as possible away. Lastly, use a slightly damp rag to wipe the remaining mold away.

Dry the books first, if they are still damp. Use a brush to remove dried mildew or a clean rag dampened with mild soapy water; let dry completely.

First of all you should keep them in a dry place, clean them with a perfectly dry rag and let them air for a while.

Depending on the quality of your books, for example, if the paper quality is low, you won't be able to remove the mold. But otherwise use vinegar.

I thing you will probably have to take your books to a professional to have it cleaned. They know what they are doing and will not damage the books.

It is almost impossible to remove mold from books. There are companies that specialize in mold remediation, but they will tell you that it is not always possible, even for them. On your own, you can try very briefly putting the books in a microwave. However, it is unlikely that even this will work.
