What can I do for a Ford Taurus when its brakes lock up while I'm driving?

At that time suddenly put on safty breaking system and control the car and park in safty side. First check the break pedal stuck and look engin overheet then open the bonet check breaking oil and electronic breaking system. If any other complaint i will call to the nearest Ford authorised workshop

The first thing you need to do is check to make sure you have enough brake fluid. If you do then chances are you have a master cyllinder problem.

Assuming you DON'T have anti-lock brakes, release the brake pedal and pump the brakes until the car stops. ABS brakes lock up? Tow your vehicle to a shop asap.

Check the hand brake if it's engaged. If problem persist the brake pads and/or rotor have to be replaced. This may be inherent to your car.
