Tooth injuries are serious, but can be dealt with by vets who can recommend dietary changes, etc to prevent future problems. You may have to syringe-feed for a while.

You will need to get the tooth taken care of before he will start eating again. You could take the hamster to the Vet to get the teeth looked at. Since hamsters rely on their teeth a lot, if they grow too long or get broke it will disrupt their eating habits.

Unfortunately, there is probably not much you can do. Small rodents like this can be easily injured and either your pet will adapt and learn to eat without his tooth or he will get sick and probably die from the injury.

Your hamster will need to see a veterinarian. If the broken tooth is causing him pain, he will avoid eating. The vet may need to give your hamster gas anesthesia in order to remove the broken tooth, or may just need to trim the hamsters teeth. Hamsters need to chew to keep their teeth healthy and at an acceptable length.

Try tempting your hamster with different types of soft food, such as fruit or even catfood. A visit to your local vet would be best to address the broken tooth.

I would start mashing up his food and adding water to it, for a puree-like consistency, put a little next to his mouth to introduce him to it.
