How much does fixing a chipped tooth cost?

I chipped my tooth and I need to get it fixed at a dentist in Canada.

I am not sure how much they charge in Canada, but in the states it depends on how bad the chip is. You might have to get a crown and that would increase the cost of the repair of the tooth. If they can fix it without a crown it could cost from $100-300.

It just depends on what tooth you chipped, if it is a front tooth it will cost more. The other thing that could effect the cost is how much of the tooth is chipped. I would suggest going into the dentist and let them give you a quote.

If you are a Canadian resident, socialized medicine covers all your dental charges. If you are not, then the price will vary from dentist to dentist. Depending on the severity of chip, it could be anywhere from $150-800, if you are a US resident, I would recommend waiting until you return to the states to get it fixed.

It depends upon how badly the tooth is chipped, of course. I had a tooth chipped and all the dentist did was build it up, which cost $150. If you need to have a cap put on, that can cost from $500 to $800.

Well it is going to cost you about 150 to 300 dollars to fix your tooth. If you have insurance, then it will be covered and you don't have to worry about paying the costs.
