You can not get this pain to stop until you go to the dentist. If you are having that much pain you probably fractured your root.

To treat broken tooth pain you can go to your local store and purchase over the counter pain medicine. Or for when you are at home you could apply a hot compress over your jaw or area it is sore even the gum, just run hot water onto a washcloth.
