Two solutions include using a cold compress with ice if near the eye or using a paste of baking soda and water on the sting site (away from eye).

Soak a compress in cold water, and apply it directly to the sting. This will help with the swelling. Take asprin for the pain.

Gently ice the area stung and keep your head elevated above the level of your heart. Lying flat will make the swelling worse.

Brew some tea (black tea), keep the liquid in the refrigirator. When the tea cools, take cotton swabs, dip them in the tea and place them on the bitten eye!
