Determine if irritants are triggering the eczema break-outs- dust, allergens, dog or cat dander, harsh detergents or soaps, etc, and try to avoid these irritants. Wash with mild cleanser and lukewarm water, run a humidifier in the bedroom, apply a cortisone cream or a stronger cream prescribed by your doctor.

I would recommend trying to determine the underlying cause of the eczema flare-ups. Eczema is often caused by an allergy to something... could be environmental or injested. My son is allergic to milk and eggs, and when these foods were eliminated from his diet, his eczema cleared immediately. A simple allergy test may prove to be helpful.

Use a good moisturizer and avoid the sun. Also make sure you use gentle and hypoallergenic soap when washing your face.

There are lots of creams that work very well for eczema. I would recommend cocoa butter and it is a great moisturizer and nutrient cream.

Your dermatologist can prescribe you with a creme to prevent eczema. For the most part, you need to be following a strict skin care and diet regimen to prevent this.

Typically your doctor can prescribe you a cream to help with facial outbreaks. However, if this does not work, you can use a green-tinted concealer most drug stores carry.

Make sure your face is clean. You should also get some moisturizer that works very well. Make sure that you are not allergic to something that you are using on your face. You might want to mix up your skin care regime as well. You can change one thing at a time and see what makes a difference.
