Water that spot very heavily. Extra water will dilute the dog pee and help keep your grass green. The other option is dig up the grass and replant.

Dog grass burn is caused by the dogs urine burning the grass. There are countless food additives that can be added to your dogs daily food regiments that will prevent this from happening. You can also get in the habit of watering the grass down after your dog urinates. This will prevent the grass from burning very well.

Products are made specifically to address this problem. Head to your local Petsmart or Petco, and you will find a variety of sprays that aim to heal your lawn. Alternately, speak with your neighbor about containing the dog, or feeding the dog a supplement that changes the chemistry of its' urine (also at pet stores).

The urine contains a high proportion of nitrogen, which is what causes the lawn to develop these yellowish patches. The best thing is to pour water over where the dog has urinated, so as to dilute the concentration of nitrogen.
