What can cause arch and ankle swelling?

Arch and ankle swelling can be caused by injury such as sprain. In some cases, it can be associated with something serious such as diabetes or hypertension.

If you happen to get bit by a mosquito, or get bit by red fire ants, or get bit by a snake there, that can cause arch and ankle swelling.

Your ankle could be broken or you pull a muscle. Both will stop your blood from flowing down to your feet and ankle and cause your ankle to swell. if this happen for a couple of days, even if it doesn't hurt, go check your doctor

Ussually this is salt retention but it could also be from wearing bad shoes for a very long time in extreme cases this can also be tendonitis.
