The quality of cafeteria food varies from school to school, but most try to provide some healthy options. The problem is monotony (in healthy and unhealthy foods), and limitless quantity.

To improve a college students diet three key things need to be addressed. Their access to healthy food. Their access to a means to cook if they live in a dorm. The price of food must be in a students budget. A communal cooking area would help in dorms.

I think that colleges should provide educational materials and information to all students at orientation. For some students this is their first time away from home.
