Honestly, you shouldn't expect much from a relationship between a high school and college student. It is two completely different worlds and, even in one year, a lot of things can change.

It depends on what sort of relationship that looking are asking about. Friendships between college and high school students are often strained as one is out on their own and one is living with their parents.

You should not get involved in a relationship where one person is over 18 and the other is under 18. However, if both parties are adults, you will have to consider the difference in friends, culture, and curriculum between a high school student and a college student.

You should expect jail time, if the high school student is young enough. But, seriously, that kind of relationship seems destined to fail. Odds are, it would be a long distance relationship, and both people would have ample opportunities to see other people.
