All hair coloring will fade eventually. However, permanent hair color won't fade as quickly, and you will have better results with hair coloring that also takes care of your hair, such as L'Oreal and Garnier. Also, some colors fade faster than others; red tones fade especially quickly.

Brands of hair coloring that won't fade are Texture and tones, Nice and Easy, Herbal Essence, Perfect 10, Couleur Expert, Bigen, Dark & Lovely permenant color, Dark & Lovely Hi Rez and Dark and Lovely Color Confidence.

It depends on your hair type and color. I have a lot of luck with Garnier Fructis hair dyes. Best option is to have a professional dye your hair.
