What bait do you use to catch striped bass?

Striped bass are extremely difficult for the amatuer fisherman to catch. The best bait is a 10-fold hington, but you can get by with other bait as well. More important than the bait is the location.

Many experienced fishermen will swear on a worm and a bobber for this. They primarily feed on the sides of the pond but not on the middle of floor so any small floating bait should work. Just make sure you try out the sides of the pond instead of the center.

Live or fresh bait is the best way to go for striped bass. Bloodworms are best in the spring, as that is what the stripers are looking for at that time. Bunker and spot are other great baits.
