What are US Virgin Island teaching positions?

I would like to teach in the US Virgin Islands.

To ensure you are properly certified to teach in the Virgin Islands you should visit the United States Virgin Islands Department of Education website. There you will also find employment opportunities. There is a great need for English as a second language staff, as well as special education teachers.

The US Virgin Islands Department of Education website had a lot of helpful information about the available positions. The telephone number is (340) 774-4546 and the fax number is (340) 774-3384. They can give you the information you need about the requirements, in case they are different than those in the US.

The teaching positions at the US Virgin Islands is the same as in the rest of the continental US. There's teachers, professors, teaching assistants, and subs.

Try to find this information from a local job agency or a relocation company. Another way will be to contact one of the island's school board and find out about the requirements to apply as a teacher. There has to be some of this information in their websites, and most of them do have them.
