My criteria is the number of Oscars a movie has won, and if so, some of the top movies of all-time are Titanic, Ben Hur, Dances with Wolves, Shawshank Redemption, Lord of the Rings, King Kong, Braveheart, Silence of the Lambs, The Hurt Locker, Crash, Glory and the Dark Knight.

It's tough to say with any authority what the top 100 movies of all time are. It's a somewhat subjective process. Nonetheless, if you are curious, the website has a somewhat authoritative list.

My criteria of listing the great movies of all time is preference and my personal feelings troward certain movies that mean something to me.

Everyone has a different top 100 because everyone's opinions differ. To get into my top 100, it has to interest me, and be able to keep my attention.

there are lots of list on the internet with good movie of all time, but my opinion is that the good movies are those who impress you the most.
