Tennis is a ball and racket game played on a rectangular court by either 2 or 4 players. The goal is to make the ball bounce twice in your opponents court or hit past them. The ball must be hit over the net.

To win a set, you have to win 6 games (unless it's tied 5-5, in which case you have to win by 2, 7-5. If it's tied 6-6, it goes to a tie breaker. ) The scoring for a game goes: 15, 30, 40, Game. If it's 40 all, the score is "deuce", and you have to win by 2.

a server serves the ball into play. a point is earned when a ball is either not returned after one bounce, or not kept between the baseline or side lines upon that return. games are won, then eventually sets, and ultimately a match.
