They'll feel dry or tight, and possibly hot or swollen. The skin can start to chap or split and the lips may bleed. Apply a petroleum-based moisturiser to the lips as soon as possible after prolonged exposure to the sun to prevent any long-lasting damage from occurring.

Sunburned lips will be red and swollen/puffy at first and very tender. If the sunburn is bad enough there will likely be blisters and sores. Once the swelling goes down the lips will probably be very dry and have scabs. At this point they will start to peel and flake off.

Sunburnt lips are more common than people think and the lips need as much sunblock as the rest of your body. If you do get sunburnt they will blister and sometime burst. They will be red and hurt way more than a sunburn anywhere else. They will peel and all you can do until they heal is keep them moist.

Sun burned lips feel dry and they may be cracked. They may appear pinkish or red in color. They literally burn and itch the person that has them. If touched it may be warm or hot. The lips may also be swollen and hurt or feel tender or even blister.

The area that's sunburned feels hot, tingly, and may be come red, pink, or even a brownish color depending on the severity of the burn. Swelling and peeling is also common. In some cases, it will develop a blister, but DO NOT pop the blister(s).

Using Aloe Vera works well , but also apply chapstick. It may blister up and feel very puffy.

They become very swollen and get super dry. They burn and itch like crazy as well. They also turn a deeper red or pink and may start to crack if they get too dry. They might also get little blisters on them.

I've had this before, they will go red and feel very dry and they could itch or tingle. They may also swell, crack or blister. Try putting Vaseline in the fridge, it numbs the itching and brings down the swelling and colour. Its a very painfully annoying place to burn.
