Vomiting, weakness, and fever are initial symptoms 2 to 4 weeks after exposure. Some cats do not show further symptoms, and are not contagious, while other cats are constantly ill. Other signs include weight loss and loss of appetite. It is spread thru cat tears, saliva (grooming), feces and urine. Contact your Vet if you suspect your kitty is sick.

Early on they will have a loss of energy and some fever. In general they will have reoccurring infections, loss of appetite, weight loss, excessive drinking and urination, depression, eye problems, blood in stool. They can also get tumors, ulcers and jaundice as well as neurological issues. You should make sure and have them tested yearly as well as vaccinated.

There are no visible symptoms for feline leukemia. It's spread through saliva, tears, urine, and other bodily fluids. Have them checked by your vet and limit contact with other cats.

Feline leukemia is a virus. Cats transmit this in their saliva, urine, and feces. If they are pregnant their kittens will most likely have it.Tom cats can also contact it from fighting. Inside cats are protected as theyn are not exposed to other cats. This is the number one killer of cats today.
